Michael Jackson Buys A Stake In Shakira, Beck,Bjork and Eminem’s Catalogue

Pop legend Michael Jackson has bought publishing rights for rapper Eminem’s back catalogue. The Thriller hit maker, who also currently owns The Beatles copyright, has purchased Famous Music LLC from Viacom for an undisclosed amount. Jackson is now the owner of The Real Slim Shady and Without Me but also owns the rights to songs by Shakira, Beck and Bjork under the transaction.

Warner Bros. Pictures has hired Mark Verheiden SMALLVILLE and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA to write the big-screen adaptation of DC Comic’s TEEN TITANS.The sort of junior Justice League, comprised of Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl and Speedy first appeared in 1964. In the 80’s the team was relaunched in a new comic with the characters no longer kids but college-age adults and the stories explored more mature themes. The series also saw the addition of Cyborg, Starfire and Raven, original characters who weren’t sidekicks, while the character of Robin matured into one called Nightwing.

Petaluma police say two Staples office supply store employees and a shopping center customer were beaten recently by gang members, apparently for wearing red clothing.The attacks happened Friday near the Staples office supply store in Petaluma, where two workers and another person were assaulted.
